Money and war.

Symbolising the two "levels" of thinking.

Symbolising the two “levels” of thinking.

Money and war; we just cannot do without them, can we?

Specks of wasteland, hitherto lying waste in the ocean, are found to have immense mining benefits so we start a race to claim ownership and threaten war!

This is a disgrace, although the mentality is not new, but who will admit it? No government will . . . . . . but will people?

One Response to Money and war.

  1. Abandon TV says:

War is adults allowing children to kill other children.

War is too expensive to pay for, even with taxes. If a government raised taxes to pay (day by day) for one of their wars there would be a revolution within a day. War can only be tolerated if the government is able to spread the costs so that the population is not able to make a direct connection between the huge costs of war and their lowering standard of living.

This is done by the government printing money and taking out huge loans. The printing devalues the currency gradually and the huge loans (plus interest) are also slowly recovered at gunpoint from the earnings of future generations (via taxation). This means the government is actually stealing money across time and space from the future earnings of our children and even from the as-yet unborn.

Therefore the money which pays for the weapons which murder children in places like Iraq comes from the future earnings of other children thousands of miles away.

    And we allow this.

War is adults allowing children to kill other children.
